Santorini Restaurant Grill Bar

Newstead

Santorini Restaurant Grill Bar is an authentic slice of Greece, found tucked away in a converted warehouse in a side street of Newstead.

The space has been transformed into a stunning vision of Santorini, the famed Greek island, with white washed walls and striking murals, a backlit bar and white linen-topped tables.

Seating is on the covered terrace or the charming high-ceilinged interior, which features urns and jars in lit-up alcoves and a curved blue ceiling like the buildings on the island.

And for dessert, choices include Baklava, Ravani, Galaktobouriko, Rizogalo and Sokolatopita. Meanwhile the wine list, which features a majority of Greek wines, is outstanding, thanks to one of the owners, George, who is a wine merchant of many years standing and is happy to recommend wines to go with dishes.
