Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop

Nundah

The Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop is one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets, boasting wall to wall books of every genre.

The not-for-profit book store stocks only the best quality second-hand books, sourced from Brisbane City Council Libraries, Queensland State Libraries and local donations.

Located near Nundah Village, the bookshop caters to all ages with a fantastic range of titles; from children's books and biographies to romance novels, fantasy, sci-fi and much more.

There's something for everyone, all affordably priced with book prices starting at just $5 for adult fiction and non-fiction, and $1 to $2 for children's books and young adult novels.

If you're looking for a particular book, you can access the bookshop's search and sendservice and a friendly team member will help you find your book. Books can be collected in-shop or can be posted to you, with customers pre-paying the postage upon confirmation of availability.

All proceeds from book sales go towards supporting the services delivered by Cystic Fibrosis Queensland including their Boredom Buster Bag program. These bags are delivered weekly to children in hospital.

Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop

Cystic fibrosis is the most common, life-shortening, genetic chronic illness in Australia. It attacks the lungs, airway passages and pancreas – slowly shutting down the organs. One Australian child is born with cystic fibrosis every four days.

Nice to know - The Cystic Fibrosis Queensland Bookshop also runs special events and hosts regular book promotions.
