Spring Hill Kitchen
Spring Hill
Spring Hill Kitchen is Brisbane's first Nepalese fast food restaurant bringing authentic tastes of the Himalayas to a street corner in Spring Hill.
Perched on the corner of St Pauls Terrace and Union Street, this no-frills budget eatery dishes up some of Nepal's most popular street food for lunch and dinner including handmade momos, delicious dumplings filled with chicken, pork, beef or vegetables.
Other street snacks on offer are beef and chicken sinka (skewers), wai wai sadeko (a noodle dish mixed with tomatoes, masala and onion), chana chatpate ( a spicy dish of puffed rice, chickpeas, veggies and chillies), and pan-fried potatoes cooked with onion, ginger and garlic served with fresh roti.
In addition, there's Everest curry served with rice, crunchy fried chicken, and Himalayan noodle soup (thukpa) made with marinated meat, chopped veggies, garlic, ginger, spices and noodles.
Nice to know - Eat-in or take-away.
