KOTO SANPO IN BRISBANE CBD HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Koto Sanpo, which translates to "a peaceful stroll around Kyoto”, is a chic, contemporary Japanese cafe offering a modern-day Kyoto cafe experience with authentic Japanese fare from udon noodles and bento boxes to matcha desserts and Australia's first Koto high tea. 

Located on Elizabeth Street, Koto Sanpo is the shining star of FudoDori, a brand new Asian dining hub in the heart of Brisbane's CBD.

One of first eateries and the most anticipated to open at FudoDori (with another 10 to follow), Koto Sanpo's extensive menu features a a multitude of matcha-based drinks and desserts, all made with top-quality matcha sourced directly from Kyoto Uji area in Japan. 

Specialty matcha lattes include strawberry, white chocolate and Vienna double matcha served along with iced matchas, frozen matcha frappes and matcha floats. 

Delectable desserts range from matcha soft serve ice-cream to the cafe's signature parfaits like Koto Sanpo and Matcha Tiramisu -sweet potato chips, strawberry matcha, matcha jelly, matcha soft serve, matcha white chocolate popcorn, sweet red beans, matcha cake and matcha tiramisu. 

More than just matcha, Koto Sanpo offers a variety of savoury dishes such as udon noodles, pork katsu, chicken karaage, and round bentos filled to the brim with delicious Japanese cuisine like teriyaki salmon, chicken nanban, and barbecue eel.  

Good to know - A must-do experience at Koto Sanpo is Koto High Tea, the first of its kind in Australia, with dainty beef katsu sandwiches, matcha cake and more served in Japanese-style lacquered, tiered food boxes.
