Found half way between New Farm and Newstead in historic Teneriffe, along the Submariners Walk Heritage Trail, this charming, family-owned and operated cafe provides seating inside the chic space and al fresco dining on a deck overlooking the Brisbane River.

The menu is small but well thought out including gluten-free and vegan options. All-day breakfast fare ranges from the quintessential avo on toast with beetroot hummus and classic eggs on toast, to Spanish omelettes and French toast.

Lunch options include wholesome salads, gourmet sandwiches, bagels, wraps, and nourishing bowls. Try the smoked salmon bowl with quinoa, avocado, mesclun lettuce, capers, yoghurt and lime.

Coffee on pour is provided by ​​​​​​the family’s own coffee import business, Mr Coffee's, with beans sourced directly from organic, sustainable micro-regions in Colombia. Besides coffee, there are specialty teas, hot chocolates (dark, chilli and ginger) and fresh fruit and veg juices including a Hangover Cure - apple, orange, pink grapefuit, ginger, turmeric and cayenne pepper.
