Riaweena St Playground
The Gap
Tucked away at the back of the Enoggera Creek Bikeway is the intimate and almost untouched Riaweena Street Playground.
This unfenced playground is set against both the bush land of The Gap and a large open grass space.
With a three tiered drinking fountain for adults, children and dogs, one picnic table and one bench, parents can relax in the quite and tranquil area as their children enjoy the very clean council facilities without the crowds.
The spider climbing net will encourage the development of balance and spatial awareness in young children while the slide, double swings, rotating pole and pirate bouncer will ensure children are entertained long enough for the parents to sit back and soak up the sunshine themselves.
This is an outing where the beloved dog is invited so long as the lead is fastened at all times.
