Funkateers is a family-friendly, funky neighbourhood pizzeria dishing up delicious pizza for lunch and dinner along with craft beer and boutique wine.

Tucked away on a suburban backstreet in Chermside, you can’t miss the vibrant façade of Funkateers. Inside is just as bright and colourful.  Customers can dine in the front half of the pizzeria, or in the rear which boasts a fantastic undercover play area for kids.

The extensive menu includes popular pizzas like Margherita and Meat Lovers, Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken, Four Cheese and Hawaiian, plus plenty more. With more than 30 pizza flavours to choose from, there’s something for everyone including vegetarian pizzas with tasty toppings like marinated pumpkin, zucchini, capsicum, mushrooms and basil pesto. All pizzas are available in 5 sizes from 9 inches to a whopping 24 inches.

In addition, there’s a range of appetisers: panko crumbed mozzarella sticks, marinated olives, mushroom arancini, crispy fried chicken wings and fresh salads, from classic Caprese to pear, rocket and walnut salad served with blue cheese dressing.

If you still have room, there’s dessert pizzas like lemon and coconut, apple crumble and caramello, as well as more than 12 flavours of Italian gelato.  

As for drinks, there’s Mocopan coffee, tea, iced tea, smoothies, frappes and gelato milkshakes, plus beer on tap, bottled beer, red, white and rosé wine.   

Nice to know – Funkateers offers delivery 7 days a week as well as take-away.
