LA MACELLERIA AT COORPAROO HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Brisbane’s favourite gelato maker, La Macelleria, has added another location - and this time it’s in the suburbs at Coorparoo.
Located at Coorparoo Square, this is the third gelataria for La Macelleria, with inner-city stores at Teneriffe and West End, scooping scrumptious artisanal gelato and sorbetto.
Churned fresh every day using quality natural ingredients, traditional Italian flavours include the likes of bacio (hazelnut chocolate), cioccolato (dark chocolate), stracciatella (chocolate chip) and castiglione (locally made buffalo ricotta with caramelised figs); while sorbetto is available in fresh fruity flavours such as strawberry, mango and lemon.
Besides authentic Italian gelato, there’s a range of indulgent treats on hand including bite-sized gelato rocher and gelato shakes made with your choice of gelato, house made sauce (dark chocolate, hazelnut chocolate, caramel or raspberry) and crunchy bits of hazelnut granella, pistachio granella, amaretti biscuits or chocolate pearls.
In addition, there are gorgeous gelato and semifreddo cakes for those special occasions, ranging from ricotta and raspberry gelato cheesecakes to La Bologna (chocolate and hazelnut semifreddo cakes) and Biancaneve (custard semifreddo cakes covered with lemon meringue).
