Verandah On Racecourse

Ascot

Last updated: Mar 20, 2022

Verandah on Racecourse feels much like a corner of Saigon in Ascot with its wide, timber deck, plenty of greenery and all the flavours of Vietnam.

Along the benches, there are comfy cushions to induce a relaxing morning sipping Fonzie Abbott coffee or traditional Vietnamese iced coffee served with condensed milk.

Breakfast (served until midday) includes classics such as buttermilk blueberry pancakes and eggs benny, as well as signature omelettes using three free range eggs - Hoi An, whisky & orange house-cured salmon, Spanish chorizo and Buddha.

Other excellent breakfast choices are the eggs Saigon, house made zuchinni fritters and the bo kho (slow-braised beef chunks with lemongrass sauce on sourdough).
