Le Fromage Yard is a little European-inspired specialty cheese shop nestled along Wynnum Rd in Morningside.
One of Brisbane's best fromageries, Le Fromage Yard offers a great range of unique French, European and Australian cheeses.
Owners Stephanie and Pierre are passionate about their product and are more than happy to explain the many varieties of cheese on offer, help you decide what to buy, and suggest which food and drinks would complement your choice.
With more than forty lines of cheese, including goat, sheep and cow's milk, there is something to suit everyone’s palette.
Top-quality French cheeses include Truffle Raclette, Roquefort, Fermier Camembert, Duo Truffle Brie, Cabrie de Chèvre (goat brie) and Fumaison (raw sheep’s milk cheese).
As well as French cheese, there is English Clawson Stropshire Blue, Irish Porter Cheese and Whisky Cheddar, Spanish Manchego and raw smoked Idiazabal, and Australia’s award-winning Bunya Black brie.
Besides delicious cheese, Le Fromage stocks an array of accompaniments such as crackers, Jamworks quince paste (from Stanthorpe), saucisson sec (made in Brisbane) and homemade tapenades and marinated olives by Byron Bay Olive Company.
