New Farm Confectionery

Newstead

Last updated: Apr 01, 2021

New Farm Confectionery is a Parisian-inspired, artisan sweet shop dedicated to confectionery for grown-ups, housed in an old Newstead warehouse.

Previously located at New Farm, this new factory-inspired location is bigger and better. Here, couverture chocolates and delicious sweets are handcrafted daily and sold in the simple yet elegant shopfront.

Pretty little bags of confections line the shelves; from bark and brittle, honeycomb and rocky road, to caramels and marshmallows.

Popular items include milk chocolate rocky road, chocolate dipped vanilla marshmallows, cookie dough amazeballs and for the little kid in all of us - luscious fruit flavoured lollipops with sherbet (both made using real fruit).

A glass case features drool-worthy slabs of chocolate bark like dark chocolate raspberry bark, white chocolate blackberry bark and milk chocolate pearl bark sprinkled with Callebaut RiceCrisps individually flavoured in strawberry, salted caramel, dark chocolate and white chocolate.

There’s a little deck out front where customers can sit and enjoy their saccharine treats with well-brewed Wolff coffee, couverture hot chocolate (dark, milk or white) served with marshmallow or scrumptious milkshakes made with Belgian Callebaut chocolate ganache and signature products like chocolate and honeycomb, chocolate and peppermint or chocolate, chilli and cinnamon.

Nice to know – New Farm Confectionery makes gluten-free, dairy free and vegan treats, too.
