Forest Lake

Updated: Jun 21, 2025

Simple Bliss in Forest Lake is a gorgeous little lakefront coffee spot in a peaceful location which is unique in western Brisbane.

Chairs and stools are arranged on this relaxed wooden deck featuring views across Forest Lake itself. Serving locally-roasted Black Sheep Coffee, Noah's juices, T2 teas, and light refreshments baked by Jo Jo's Treat House, Simple Bliss is a great spot to enjoy a lakeside brunch.

At Simple Bliss, it is possible to either eat in or take away coffee and home-baked cakes, slices and biscuits. The Forest Lake Parklands walking track passes by the cafe, leading around the lake where there are plenty of picnic areas and playgrounds to keep little ones entertained.

Simple Bliss Forest Lake

In a nutshell - After a blissful walk around the parklands, enjoy brunch by Forest Lake itself with unrivalled views of nature, great coffee and snacks to accompany.

Nice to Know - Simple Bliss occupies the front deck and there is a car park onsite.
