Archer's Bunker

Spring Hill

ARCHER'S BUNKER HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Archer’s Bunker is a clandestine air raid shelter-style drinking den hidden in the basement of Spring Hill’s International Hotel.

This underground bar is the headquarters of Brisbane’s boutique brewery Archer Brewing. Entry is eiither via a secret stairwell behind the telephone box inside the International Hotel or through the Archer Brewing fridge in the adjoining bottle shop off the car park.

Vintage cage lights swing from the ceiling illuminating the cosy space which resembles a war bunker. Concrete flooring, exposed brickwork and wine barrels add to the ambience.

Beer on tap is by Archer Brewing including a Pale Ale, Pilsner, Lager and IPA. Alternatively, there is cider, a small selection of wine and cocktails like espresso martinis and elderflower sours.

The International Hotel has created a mouthwatering menu of bar snacks for the Bunker from beer battered onion rings and rustic woodfired pizza bread to Bunker Down tacos (fish, beef or vege).
