Ballistic Beer Co
Salisbury
Ballistic Beer Co is a cool suburban brewery, set in an old World War II-era shed in the historic, industrial suburb of Salisbury.
The interior is modern industrial with high ceilings and concrete flooring. A massive mural overlooks the polished concrete bar with timber trim, while the cavernous space is filled with picnic-style tables and tall tables with stools overlooking the shiny stainless steel vats.
Head Brewer, Lachy Crothers, is ex- Gage Roads Brewing (WA) and Camden Town Brewery (UK), while owner, David Kitchen, runs a chain of successful homebrew stores. The result is high quality, full flavoured craft beer.
There’s 12 taps with four mainstays - Australian Psycho IPA, Dirty Word Lager, Pilot Light Table Beer (lower alcohol) and The Grandfather, an English style old ale – while the remaining taps will feature cider, experimental brews like Life on the Hedge cold brew brown ale and guest beers such as Currumbin Valley Brewing’s session IPA, The Alley.
Nice to know - Ballistic Beer is super dog friendly.
