Major Dirtbox

Yatala

Major Dirtbox is an Australian first – a unique fantasy playground for grown-ups (and teens) where they get to operate heavy duty machinery on a construction site on weekends just for the fun of it.

Locted in Yatala, Major Dirtbox is the place to unleash your inner child and climb aboard a real life size Excavator, Bulldozer, Skid Steer or even a massive Dump truck just as they drive in the mines.

Under the watchful eyes of an industry professional, anyone aged over 11 years* can come and experience what it’s like to be in the operating seat of their choice of Dump trucks, Bobcats, Excavators & Dozers.

After selecting the adventure and equipment they would like to operate, customers undertake a safety induction which runs through the fundamentals and explains the basics of the equipment they will be operating.

Not just that but there are fun activities and games to be played at Major Dirtbox too, such as Excavator Basketball, Dozer Dirt Surfing, building dirt castles and more.

Major Dirtbox Yatala

Nice to know - This unique idea was founded on the back of a long established training organisation so customers can rest easy knowing they are in safe hands.

Need to know - Major Dirtbox has 6 adventure packages to choose from starting from just 40mins to 3.5hours. There are adventures for everyone, ideal for those looking for something different for the next Team building day, Corporate Event, Birthday, Bucks and Hens party or even a gift for someone that’s hard to buy for.  Note that adventures are only available on weekends and must be booked in advance.

*While operating the plant machinery packages are only suitable for those aged over 11 years, children as young as five can still take part in some activities, including taking a ride in the dump truck.
