Genki Market

Savour the flavours of your favourite authentic Japanese street food under the cherry blossoms and fairy lights every Sunday from 10am to 3pm at the Genki Market in Brisbane City. 

Since 2021, this unique market has been welcoming locals and visitors, offering an ever-changing array of street food alongside art and craft market stalls. The market comes to life each week in the driveway and car park of Genki Mart - Brisbane's largest Japanese grocery store.

Takoyaki, taiyaki pancakes, katsu sando, chicken karaage, sushi, dumplings, noodles, matcha lattes, parfaits, and sweets are just some of the taste sensations that are regularly on offer at the weekly Genki Market.

Sit for a while with friends and soak up the atmosphere while you enjoy the authentic Japanese fare. Then browse the art and craft market stalls with their handmade homewares, jewellery, candles, soaps, ceramics and much more.

One visit won’t be enough. For many, Genki Market is a Sunday must-do!
