Betty's Burgers
Howard Smith Wharves
Betty's Burgers, Noosa's iconic burger chain, has opened its fourth Brisbane location underneath the Story Bridge at Howard Smith Wharves serving classic burgers, french fries and onion rings.
Found on the ground floor of Crystalbrook Vincent, nestled against the cliff face, Betty's brings casual, family-friendly dining to Brisbane's hot spot with a California vibe and its signature orange and turquoise colour scheme; with seating provided inside and out.
Juicy burgers range from Betty's classic Angus beef and southern fried chicken to pork belly and shroom burgers. The latter, vegetarian option is a crisp fried mushroom patty with melted gouda and gruyere cheese, lettuce, tomato and Betty's special sauce. Add a side of crispy French fries, beer battered onion rings, or Betty's garden salad dressed with red wine vinegar.
Dessert consists of 'concrete', a rich and creamy custard ice-cream combined with Betty's favourite recipes. Think peanut butter brittle (chocolate custard, peanut brittle, Nutella, salted peanuts and whipped cream) and lip-smacking lemon raspberry cheesecake (vanilla custard, lemon curd, lemon zest, raspberries, New York cheesecake and ginger crumble).
Drink wise, there's a range of thick shakes (blended with freshly made custard ice-cream), soft drinks and libations such as beer, alcoholic ginger beer, pear cider and wine.
