Guyatt Park Warrior Course
St Lucia
Brisbane's first free outdoor warrior course has opened in a leafy neighbourhood park beside the Brisbane River in St Lucia.
Guyatt Park, a popular riverside park, has recently been upgraded to include a fantastic fitness challenge course, perfect for aspiring ninja warriors from ages 12 and up.
Fans of the hit TV series Ninja Warrior and fitness enthusiasts alike won't be disappointed. Designed to build strength, fitness and agility while having fun, this warrior course boasts some of the same challenging obstacles as the TV show, from the quintuple steps at the start of the course to the Pole Forest and Field of Rings.
Overall, there there are 11 obstacles to overcome, that will test your agility, coordination and upper-body strength. The aim of the course is to make it through all the obstacles without touching the ground as fast as you can.
You can scan a QR Code (available at the park) to view video instructions and rules for completing the course, as well as to record and save you time, with a leaderboard displaying the top times.
Nice to know - The Guyatt Park playground for younger children, located next to the warrior course, has also been recently upgraded.
