Iris is a luxurious Mediterranean-inspired rooftop bar and restaurant located sky high at the top of Hotel X in Fortitude Valley.
Inspired by the Mediterranean coast from Beirut to Barcelona, guests enter via a grand entrance of exposed stonework to a dreamy vision of blooming wisteria vines, olive trees and twinkling lights, with plush decor in shades of Spanish-inspired plum and indigo, rose and gold.
With breathtaking, uninterrupted views of Brisbane's city skyline, Fortitude Valley and beyond, Iris also features a luxury restaurant space and a boutique private dining room. With private dining, a bungalow poolside experience, crackling fire and a space that transforms into a dance floor after nightfall, Iris is the year round go-to for all occasions.
The Mediterranean-inspired menu derives from regions of Greek and Spain, with dishes designed to share, while the bar menu features indulgent cocktails, premium wines, spirits and beer.
