The charming country township of Marburg, on the outskirts of Ipswich and less than an hour's drive from Brisbane, is a great place to spend a day (and a night). 

With fantastic antique shops to fossick through, quaint cafe, historic pub, hobby farm and creative boutique  and coffee nook set in an old church, there's plenty of reasons to go day tripping here:
