in South East Queensland

Updated: Sep 14, 2024

South-East Queensland is home to some great strawberry farms, most family-owned, where you can but luscious fresh strawberries straight from the source, with two open for PYO during strawberry season and one with a fantastic on-site cafe with a strawberry-flavoured menu. Here's where to find them:

The time is ripe for strawberry picking with some of the juiciest, sweetest strawberries found just forty minutes from Brisbane

An hours drive from Brisbane. just north of Caboolture is this family-owned farm that is open all school holidays for PYO - look for the big strawberry!

They don't do PYO but you can buy fresh juicy strawberries direct from the family-owned farm as well as some vegetables in season
