Boba Happy Hour

Hats on Queen

Updated: Mar 10, 2025

Bubble tea lovers, Boba Happy Hour has arrived at HATS ON QUEEN, a hidden gem in the heart of Brisbane City, with 20% off all boba between 3pm and 5pm on weekdays.

Made fresh onsite, HOQ offers four milk based and two tea based boba options including crowd favourite flavours like Brown Sugar and Taro. On top of this, Chef Alex Kwon has created Jenga Toast -  a stack of golden toast sprinkled with matcha powder or chocolate syrup and topped with boba bubbles!

Formerly with The Star GC, Chef Alex brings his Korean roots and international experience to Brisbane, offering a tantalising menu of fresh deli sandwiches, sweet treats and more, available daily at HOQ Cafe.

HOQ has some of the city's best lunch deals including their popular Pork Bulgogi with Chef's own marinade, served with steamed rice and salad for $18, or a juicy 250g Rump Steak with crunchy chips, salad and special demi-glaze for $25.

Hats on Queen is an undiscovered gem in the city, perfect for a quick morning coffee, corporate lunch, or afternoon pick-me-up.
