King Of The Wings

Food Truck

King of the Wings, one of Brisbane's most popular food trucks to hit the streets, is the go-to for delicious buffalo wings.

Buffalo wings or chicken wings are popular in North America, especially in pubs, but not so much in Australia. Dylan and Katrina Pires intend to change that with Brisbane’s first chicken mobile serving seriously scrumptious wings in five flavours; from King of the Wings signature Southern Spice (a dry rub inspired by traditional Kentucky herbs and spices) to the sweet Bee Sting (honey with a hint of chilli) and extra crunchy Portuguese Crumb (combination of popular Portuguese flavours in crunchy coating).

Heat seekers will love The Chillogy (not for the faint hearted) while American BBQ (traditional smoky flavour with bourbon) is a proving popular with the people.

Wings can be purchased in packs from four to thirty (great for sharing with mates, or maybe not) with or without sides of steamed, chicken-garlic rice or fries. Also available are vegetarian spring rolls and spicy potato samosas, alongside soft drinks and bottled water (which comes in handy if ordering The Chillogy).

King of the Wings

You’ll find King of the Wings all over town (from Strathpine in the north to Slacks Creek in the south); while those who think wings and beer go hand in hand can find them at Green Beacon Brewing in Teneriffe from time to time. Check Facebook for today's locations.

*Things to Note: King of the Wings prepares everything fresh so while there may be a short wait at peak times; these wings are worth the wait.
