Four Sisters on Lang is a cute little Vietnamese street food café tucked away in an Auchenflower commercial estate locate on the corner of Lang Parade.
Run by four sisters who bring their Vietnamese heritage to the table and mix it with some Oz staples, Four Sisters on Lang serves an all day breakfast as well as light lunches and delicious sweet and savoury treats.
On the substantial breakfast menu are Vietnamese classics like the special Four Sisters Vietnamese Big Breakfast (fried egg and marinated fillet steak served with warm baguette) and a Breakfast Banh Mi filled with bacon, egg, pickled carrot, coriander and soy sauce. In addition there’s French Toast, Eggs Your Way, Toasted Croissant, Toast with Condiments, Fruit salad, Granola, Vegetarian or the Four Sisters Hearty Big Breakfast (English-style).
Diners can opt for a Vietnamese lunch with options of Goi Cuon (Rice Paper Rolls with fillings such as pork and prawn, lemon grass or satay Chicken or nam Nuong – Vietnamese pork balls). The Banh Mi come with similar fillings as well as marinated chicken, beef or pork.
There’s also a selection of ‘Bun’ (fresh vermicelli noodle salad) with toppings including satay or lemon grass chicken, pork balls and spring rolls.
Typical Oz lunches are also available and include Beef, Chicken or Vegetable Burger, Steak sandwich, BLAT, fresh cut sandwiches, salads and shoe string fries with aioli.
Drinks-wise Four Sisters on Lang serves traditional Vietnamese coffee, hot or iced, Vietnamese avocado smoothies, espresso milkshakes, fresh juices and smoothies and Iced chocolate.
Also behind the counter are sweet slices, cup cakes, brownies and other baked goodies.
