Wang Chung is an overwater restaurant serving contemporary Pan Asian cuisine, located on the William Gunn Jetty at Manly.
Overlooking the marina, with beautiful water views, Wang Chung (formerly Tide on the Jetty) is open for lunch and dinner as well as daily coffee and light breakfast.
On the menu you'll find delicious bites like Hervey Bay scallop with wasabi butter; lobster sando with Japanese mayo and house pickle; and Rendang spiced beef tartare with sesame leaf, chilli and coconut.
Small plates include Moreton Bay dumplings with crispy chilli & black vinegar; BBQ local king prawns. koji, white soy & green onion oil; Wang Chung fried chicken ribs, chilli and aioli; or salt and Chinese pepper tofu, wasabi and roast sesame dressing.
Large plates, which can be shared, include master stock braised pork belly, soba noodle, enoki mushrooms, green mustard & sesame: market fish, local prawn tom yum, rice noodles, herbs & fried shallots; Bang Bang chicken salad with peanut, cucumber, carrot & spring onion; and smoked Stockyard Wagyu brisket red curry, Thai basil & bean shoots.
Cocktails are a star of the drinks menu, with choices like Lychee & Peach Spritz; Oolong Strawberry Martini; Spiced Plum Daiquiri and Wasabi Margarita. The comprehensive wine list features mostly Australian wines along with French, Italian and NZ. There's also sake, spirits and liqueurs along with mocktails, soft drink and juices.
Need to know - There is a limited amount of parking in the car park near the jetty.
