Spring at Bacchus Restaurant

South Brisbane

Updated: Sep 18, 2024

Chef de Cuisine Marco Sfamurri has taken over the kitchen at Bacchus Restaurant in South Brisbane, and has crafted a delicious Spring menu overflowing with seasonal freshness and flavour.

Bacchus Restaurant

The Spring a la carte menu is bursting with fresh dishes like Murray Cod (with mussels, clams and fennel), a wonderful take on Duck ‘Orange, Tagliolini with crab, bisque and finger limes, Risotto with capers, lemon and nori, a whole Spatchcock with yoghurt, guindillas and harissa, plus a menu of smaller dishes such as Kingfish sashimi, pork belly and burrata.

Bacchus Restaurant

The Grand Sharing Menu makes its debut as a shared feasting experience, including house-made focaccia with preserved tomatoes, a tantalising selection of small plates -  think crispy layer potatoes with buffalo curd and salmon caviar, kingfish sashimi with furikake, ponzu and yuzu, and burrata with chilli, pine nuts and artichoke - and large plates of proteins like a 400g Pork Cutlet with brown butter and capers or upgrade to an 800g Black Angus Rib eye, chargrilled carrots with labna, nduja and curry leaf, broccolini with shoyu and fermentd chilli, and green leaf salad with apple cider vinaigrette. To finish, it’s apple with honey, cinnamon and blue cheese. All from $125 per person with a minimum of two people.

Bacchus Restaurant

An all new Tasting Menu replaces the traditional degustation but keeps the Bacchus magic alive, featuring Baby Squid, Lemon Risotto, Lamb Neck, Petit Fours and of course, the famous Bacchus’ Apple dessert for $135 per person.

Also new for Spring 2024 is the $59pp Mid-Week Menu, which includes some of Bacchus’ favourite mains and desserts, available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Bacchus Restaurant

Bacchus has paired their sumptuous Spring menus with an award-winning wine list featuring 700 offerings and over 50 wines ‘by the glass’. The list celebrates the great grape growing regions of Queensland, Australia, and the world and the Bacchus cheese trolley remains one of the best in the country.
