Pho Inn
Camp Hill
Tucked in the corner of Camp Hill’s Samuel Village, Pho Inn is where the locals go to get their fill of authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
A glance at the menu reveals traditional entrees like prawn and pork rice paper rolls, crab meat spring rolls and fried wonton alongside vermicelli salads, salad wraps, laksa and pho.
Vietnamese vermicelli salads range from grilled lemongrass beef and sugarcane prawn to tofu while lotus stem salad, papaya salad and Vietnamese pancakes with prawn and pork round out the cold foodstuff.
But the big winner at this budget restaurant is the pho or noodle soup. Served in big bowls with bean sprouts, chillies and lime on the side, this suburban gem’s pho is fantastic. Choose from rare beef, beef ball, chicken, seafood, vegetable or try the combination pho with a little bit of everything.
Cold drinks include fresh lemonade, lime tea, Vietnamese iced coffee and coconuts; while delicious desserts range from flan pudding and cassava cake to coconut jelly and banana ice-cream.
