Mista Boo
Yeerongpilly
Mista Boo sushi bar and Japanese restaurant has opened at Green Village in Yeerongpilly, dishing up fresh sushi, sashimi and popular Asian eats.
The Japanese eatery was the first restaurant to open in the long-awaited $850 million inner-south urban village. Nestled in the heart of the new retail and dining precinct, Mista Boo features its signature pink neon and plenty of timber, with roomy booths providing a comfortable space where families and friends can enjoy dining out with fresh Japanese cuisine.
As dishes glide past on the conveyer belt, select the ones you want or your can order directly from the i-pad at your table. There's an array of fresh sushi, from mini rolls to nigiri and aburi. Nigiri translated as “two fingers” is a small, delicious treat with the likes of fresh salmon, tempura prawn or katsu chicken placed on a cluster of sushi rice; while aburi-style sushi consists of seared salmon, scallop or prawn on top of rice. You can also order beautifully cut fresh sashimi.
Other popular items on the menu are rice bowls (don) topped with chicken karaage or katsu, spicy pork, bulgogi beef, teriyaki chicken or aburi salmon. Plus, there's Japanese curry with your choice of chicken karaage or katsu, and noodle soups made with thick udon noodles and your choice of karaage chicken or kakiage (tempura veggies).
In addition, there's a range of snacks and sides such as spring rolls, seaweed salad, edamame, okonomiyaki and takoyaki.
Drinks wise, there's soft drinks and a variety of popular Asian beverages like Sangaria Ramu soda, Mogu Mogu fruit flavoured drinks, Chupa Chups fizzy drinks, and iced tea. Mista Boo is fully licensed so you can enjoy an alcoholic beverage with your meal.
