Adelita Wine Bar
Wynnum
Adelita is a chic wine and tapas bar on Brisbane's bayside, boasting fabulous food, wine, sea breezes and water views.
Located on a Wynnum street corner, opposite Greene Park with glimpses of the ocean, Adelita features a sleek, u-shape, marble-topped bar where patrons can sample the extensive selection of wines of offer, plus al fresco dining with tables and lounges spilling out onto the patio beneath striped umbrellas.
Adelita's tapas-style menu consists of small plates and larger dishes. Bar bites range from marinated Australian olives and bush-spiced roasted nuts, to duck liver pate and fresh oysters with champagne vinegar ice and pepper berry.
More substantial plates include seafood dishes such as crispy squid and grilled tiger prawns, served along with Wagyu striploin, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, kangaroo tartare, and wild pig chorizo, plus roasted pumpkin with harissa, feta and artichokes, and burrata with bottarga, leek jam, and blistered Heirloom tomatoes.
And for sweet tooths, there's Pavlova with passionfruit, mango, lemon and smoked vanilla cream, or Golden Gay Time with caramel, chocolate, macadamia and vegemite.
The extensive wine list showcases Australian wines, poured along with international sips such as French champagne and Japanese sake.
There's a good selection of Australian craft beer (Stone & Wood, Balter, Moo Brew and more) including Adelita lager, as well as ciders and top-shelf spirits.
Adelita's cocktail menu includes creative, signature, sweet and savoury tipples like Slow and Steady (caramel soaked Scotch, Arak rinse, Chocolate Bitters), Beer-noffie Pie (banana washed dark rum, Stone & Wood, ginger and nutmeg), Ham & Pineapple (coconut washed bourbon, toasted walnuts, spiced apple, pineapple and pork crackle), and Beets Me Martini (beetroot stained vodka, Rosso vermouth, honey and caviar).
