The German BierGarten in Wooloowin is like finding an authentic little slice of Germany in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.
The owner, who is of German heritage, has created a charming traditional German beer garden in a backyard garden under the trees.
On the lunch and dinner menus are cheese kranskies, house-marinated Lumber Jack steak, original Bavarian Lebarkas, Thueringer bratwurst, beef skewers, pretzels, and salads, accompanied by a range of icy cold German beers.
Good to know - On Thursday nights it's Trivia Night and on Sundays they open for breakfast.
