Located at the junction of Sherwood and Oxley Roads, you can't miss the astro-turfed facade of Gas Espresso – a cool cafe where Sherwood locals get their fill of fine coffee, breakfast and lunch seven days a week.

Across the threshold, you'll find Gas Espresso is just as interesting inside as it is outside; recycled timber tables together with splashes of lemon and an eclectic collection of transport inspired odds and ends.

Cleanskin's Old School coffee blend is served alongside a selection of freshly baked goods from West End bakery Le Sebastian, with a breakfast menu ranging from fresh fruit salad with yoghurt, honey and pistachios to sourdough toast topped with cherry tomatoes, avocado and bocconcini or bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and spinach.

Meanwhile, lunch options include gourmet sandwiches like the classic BLT, chicken pesto or turkey bagel with a vegetarian option on offer as well. Gluten-free bread is available.
