Capalaba

Updated: May 18, 2024

Within the grounds of the Indigiscapes Centre - a charming native botanical garden - IndigiCafe serves up casual meals, morning and afternoon teas but with a bush flavour thanks to the use of native herbs and wild fruits and berries in many of the menu items.

For breakfast there's the likes of wattle-seed French toast, local Ruby Creek mushrooms with avo on sourdough, with feta and native bush spices; or acai coconut pot

Lunch dishes include the Queensland Toastie (ham. cheese, pineapple, and honey mustard), Bushmans Burger (beef patty or vegetarian smokey kale & quinoa kale patty) and IndigiWrap (toasted wrap with lemon myrtle yoghurt chicken, spinach, tomato, onion & carrot dusted with lemon myrtle seasoning).

If just there for morning tea the native Devonshire is highly recommended, incorporating bush leaf teas and scones with myrtle lemon butter and Davidson plum jam or wild lime marmalade.

Take home jars of mustards, sauces and jams are also available to purchase.

By the gardens entrance adjacent to the café is a hitching gate for dogs with water bowls.
