Minimalism and impeccable Japanese interior design intersect Brisbane's suburban coffee scene at Kimino.
Nestled away in the heart of Ashgrove, Kimino is a hidden gem of Japanese culture. From the artisan ceramic display to homemade matcha, Kimino is a pocket of serene bliss where you can take a moment to unwind.

The experience begins the moment you step foot into the venue; ambient lighting from the paper lanterns reflects off the polished concrete floors while exposed timber and marble line the counter. The staff are often hard at work making an arrangement of Japanese-inspired sweets or perfecting a new speciality drink.

Their pour-over coffee is a labour of love and a must-have if you visit! The staff take the art of coffee making to the next level with their meticulously crafted pour-over coffee that highlights the unique notes and characteristics of each roast. Feel like branching out? Kimino also offers a range of speciality coffees that regularly rotate through the menu.

The immersive experience continues onto their menu as well. Their keen eye for perfection and passion for food is the backbone that produces the array of creations that are available at Kimino. From toasties to freshly baked matcha-infused pastries, there is sure to be something to suffice your cravings.

Beside food and drinks, Kimino offers an assortment of Japanese artisan pottery. The collection includes carefully made pieces from Popular Japanese artists Chie Fuji and Masago Masako that are imported from Japan.
