The Terrace
South Bank
The Terrace is Brisbane’s most luxurious rooftop bar, encased in glass with jaw-dropping 180 degree views all the way out to Moreton island from its perch atop Hotel Emporium South Bank.
A stunning 13m white backlit onyx bar takes pride of place in the centre, with a line-up of white fur-seated bar stools here and on the expansive balcony and a scattering of elegant tables and chairs throughout, with walls of greenery adding a subtropical vibe.
Two retractable rooves mean The Terrace, which is on the 21st floor of the hotel, is an all-weather bar, open daily from 6.30am for breakfast, up until late at night.
Drinks are a match for the stunning setting, with an extensive curated list of boutique wines and luscious cocktails – a mix of signature and classic.
Here you can sip on anything from Dom Perignon to a mint or lavender liqueur from Tamborine Mountain Distillery, with a fantastic range of premium spirits from local to around the world.
To accompany a small range of bar bites offers a taste of fresh and locally sourced produce from oysters and raw kingfish to shredded chicken and mango salad, IPA stick lamb ribs and pumpkin schnitzel.
