Since the day it first slid open its bi-fold windows and drew open its sheer curtains, Cru Bar and Cellar has been a magnet for drinkers of all ages.
Whether it be the unfailing attention to detail, the antique Baccarat chandelier, the ability to be everything to everyone by offering meals, coffee or cocktails or the great people watching from the window seats is anybody’s guess, but whatever its formula, its popularity lives on.
