Cloudland

Fortitude Valley

Updated: Sep 02, 2025

Some time in history, Cloudland will surely take its place in the man-made wonders of the world as some kind of 21st century Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

Till then it is fruitless to try to describe this has-to-be-seen-to-be-believed venue although in our opinion it is best seen by day when the roof is open, to appreciate the extraordinary sculpted materials used in over-the-top designs that clash, overlap and at times complement each other.

As well as its multilevel galleries of opulent bars and nooks, Cloudland has a gorgeous Mediterranean restaurant on the ground floor and a rooftop brewery as well.

Plus, they play host to Big Band Cabaret nights, wine tastings, drag brunches and a heap of fun events.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
