Powerhouse Dog Park

Urban dogs and their owners love this oval of space flanked by Brisbane Powerhouse, the river and Cutters landing boardwalk. Grab a takeaway coffee from Mary Mae's and settle in on a bench under a jacaranda.

Near the dog park itself is a curious little marble sculpture – that of a vintage marble truck with a tear in its eye which was modelled on the grocer truck that once brought fruit and veges down to the market here.

For those with children in tow it’s a hop skip and a jump over to the giant fig tree - houses playground.
