Downfall Creek Reserve Off Leash

Dog Park

Another doggy gem in an out of the way place - this is one of Brisbane's largest off-leash areas (4 hectares), dotted with shady trees and the odd picnic shelter and having no fences to cramp a dog’s style.

In fact as it borders a creek on one side and light industrial area there’s not much else there at all. Whilst on weekdays the odd van or truck trundles in and out of the area on weekends Brickyard Road is deserted.Dog bins and water taps are provided at each end.

The nearest entries are either from adjacent Brickyard Road in Virginia or Jefferis Street or Bilsen Rd in Wavell Heights – from the latter two, cross the bridges to reach the park.

Alternatively combine an on-leash walk and Kalisto Cafe stop with the off leash run. From the café head to the dead end of Bilsen Rd (about 150m) and take the bridge to the left across to the park then head through the park along the creek, cross the bridge at the far end to Jefferis St and from here it’s a shady green on leash walk of about 500m following the creek back to Bilsen Rd.
