MAUDE HAS TRANSFORMED FROM A CAFE TO A TAPAS AND WINE BAR AND AWAITS A NEW REVIEW.
Maude is a delightful, bright and airy, contemporary cafe in Coorparoo providing expertly-brewed coffee along with delicious fare for breakfast and lunch.
Nestled on a leafy street in Brisbane's east, this neighbourhood cafe features a modern aesthetic with pale timber tables, bench seating, upholstered chairs and a striking wall that boasts a collection of botanical-themed prints.
The mouth-watering menu consists of simple fare done well including breakfast classics like Eva St Bruschetta with avocado, balsamic tomatoes and Persian feta, Croque Madame with slow-braised ham hock, poached egg and hollandaise, and Maude's scrambled eggs with avocado, quinoa salad, labneh and coriander salsa.
Otherwise, there's Majestic Mushrooms with poached egg, cauliflower puree and parmesan, Broccoli Fritters with balsamic roasted tomatoes, halloumi, poached egg, quinoa salad and labneh, and Bacon-wrapped Chipolatas served with potato cake, poached egg, mushroom, balsamic tomatoes and hollandaise.
Lunch options range from smaller meals or share plates of arancini balls, beef carpaccio, and charred octopus, to more substantial menu items such as buttermilk fried chicken burgers, eye fillet steak sandwiches, and smoked salmon nourish bowls with boiled egg, quinoa, avocado, cauliflower puree, spiced falafel and chickpea chimichurri.
Coffee on pour is Lil Red Haus Blend by Wolff Roasters, served along with loose leaf teas, iced drinks (lattes, dark chocolate and bombay chai), fresh pressed juices, thick shakes and sparkling sips such as ginger and mint lemonade, peach and thyme iced tea, or rosella and raspberry.
