Sunny Side

Sunny Side in Windsor is a unique gourmet sandwich shop that takes freshly made sandwiches with classic flavours to the next level with top notch ingredients and bread.

The northside sandwich go-to offers six staple flavours with one special limited edition, served along with locally roasted Wanderer coffee (also by the owners of Sunny Side), freshly squeezed orange juice, and a selection of soft drinks. 

A perfect start to the day is the Breakfast Sandwich (free-range soft scrambled eggs laced with kewpie mayo, dill, parsley, chives, secret seasoning, smokey bacon, Kimchi mayo, caramelized onions and American cheese served on thick cut lightly toasted Shokupan bread) or the Bacon and Egg Roll (smokey bacon, fried egg, American cheese, choice of sauce and optional hash brown on a lightly toasted milk bun).

Other sandwiches include Egg Salad (free-range egg salad with Kewpie mayo, dill, parsley, chives, shallots, ‘Egg Magic’ & dressed cos lettuce served on fresh Shokupan bread) or Beef and Pickles (20 hour in-house pastrami, pickle medley, kraut, Swiss cheese and Epic Sauce served on toasted rye bread).

There's also Chicken Schnitty (Panko crumbed schnitty, herby mayo, bread and butter pickles, and dressed shredded lettuce served on a 4 inch Martin’s potato roll) or Salad Sandwich (Lebanese cucumber, heirloom tomatoes, bread and butter pickles, beetroot relish, cos lettuce dressed with Sunny Side salad cream, chimichurri and Swiss cheese served on fresh rye bread).

As for the limited editions, which rotate weekly, expect delicious concoctions such as Panko crumbed eggplant, roasted peppers, basil pesto, tomato relish, buffalo mozzarella and provolone served on lightly toasted ciabatta.
