Chouette Cake & Dessert

Underwood

Last updated: Jul 17, 2024

Chouette Cake & Dessert is a hidden gem south of Brisbane, offering a range of French-inspired sweet treats - and it's definitely worth crossing town for!

Chouette Cake & Dessert, Underwood

Located at Underwood Central, opposite Area 51, the French-inspired patisserie is sleek and contemporary from the outside, with black and white Parisian cafe chairs and marble-topped tables lining the store front.

Inside, the dessert cafe features warm lighting and rustic furnishings including a wooden cabinet filled with chunky cookies - think Lotus Biscoff, Nutella, white chocolate & matcha - and a timber table piled with delectable treats such as chocolate brownies and egg tarts.

Another cabinet is crammed with a mouth-watering array of macarons in a rainbow of flavours: strawberry, banana, chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, cookies & cream, tiramisu, salted caramel, Lotus Biscoff, Ritz cheese, and more.

But that's not all - there are Ferrero Rocher croissants, salted caramel croffins, fruit and custard-filled tarts, mascarpone tiramisu pastries, danishes - apple, blueberry, pistachio and Nutella - and burnt cheesecake by the slice or whole.

Coffee on pour is supplied by local coffee roasters Fonzie Abbott, and perfectly compliments the selection of sweets on offer.

Nice to know - If you can't decide what to order, there are bite-sized samples scattered throughout the shop to help you choose.
