No. 5 Cafe
Fortitude Valley
Tucked away down quirky and thriving Winn Lane lies tiny No.5 Café, surprising Fortitude Valley diners with their delicious house made meals and baked goods.
The café serves breakfast, lunch and of course, coffee. The café menu contains just the right amount of choices, catering for everyone from vegetarians to gluten-free. The hole-in-the-wall style eatery has a fresh and homely look that perfectly complements the rustic, quality dishes.
The quaint café has comfortable, rustic décor with bar seating just outside the counter, as well as outdoor tables out in the laneway. The white tiled interior has been decorated with astonishing artwork by a local Brisbane artist.
Dine in for breakfast with a choice of popular breaky dishes such as smashed avo, salmon potato rosti stack and granola.
For lunch, diners can choose between confit duck roll, chicken salad, nachos or a pulled pork roll. The pulled pork roll is a favourite with diners – a soft, roll filled with slow roasted spicy BBQ pulled pork, crispy onions, apple and fennel slaw, gherkins, radish, parsley, mint and Swiss cheese.
The drinks menu is extensive, with coffee being No.5 Café’s specialty. The café serves up Two Seasons coffee, a range of teas, soft drinks, smoothies and milkshakes.
Each day there is a specials board with a unique and enticing dish. Baked goods can also be served for breakfast, lunch or in between – with delicious homemade goods such as banana bread and fruit muffins.
