Bellissimo Coffee HQ Cafe
Coorparoo
Bellissimo Coffee has opened its long-awaited, spiffy new Coorparoo HQ featuring a stunning, rustic industrial-style cafe overlooking the huge roasting warehouse.
Located at the end of Cavendish Road, near Coorparoo Secondary College, Bellissimo's flagship cafe features exposed brick, high ceiling and polished concrete flooring, with recycled timber and copper features.
Award-winning coffee is not the only attraction here though. Daniel Smyth, previously of Paddock Bakery and Bam Bam Bakehouse on the Gold Coast, has been enlisted to run the kitchen and bakery. Everything is made in house from cookies and almond croissants to sourdough loaves and even ice-cream.
The brunch menu boasts breakfast classics like Brekkie Bun (fried egg, bacon, baby spinach and cheese) and Smashed Avo on sourdough with spring greens, to Truffle Scramble (truffle ricotta and scrambled eggs on rye toast) and French Toast croissant served with seasonal fruit, house made ice-cream, milk crumbs and maple syrup.
Brunch fare also includes a juicy cheeseburger, fried chicken burger, and a wholesome salad loaded with broccolini, cucumber ribbons, shaved fennel, toasted almonds, edamame, pomegranate, orange segments, smoked hummus and mint.
Alternatively, there are all day toasties, from classic ham and cheese to chicken supreme with sundried tomato, olive tapenade and cheddar, and the Reuben - corned beef, pickles, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and French mustard on house made rye.
Coffee lovers are spoilt for choice with excellent espresso served along with cold brew, batch brew, pour-over and more. Besides coffee, there's a variety of loose leaf tea, hot chocolate, chai, and milkshakes.
Nice to know - You can also purchase bags of Bellissimo's freshly roasted coffee to take home, including the HALT blend with proceeds going to the small steps 4 Hannah Foundation. Named after local domestic violence victims Hannah, Aaliyah, Laianah and Trey, the Foundation was formed to halt the cycle of domestic and family violence in the community.
