Streetcorner Jimmy

Teneriffe

Streetcorner Jimmy is a charming, old-world bar and eatery housed in the heritage-listed London Woolstore in Teneriffe.

The bar/eatery has retained much of the 1912 building’s character with exposed brick walls and wooden beams and finished with vintage touches.

A cosy corner is furnished with luxe leather lounges and arm chairs, with tables big and small filling the ambient room.

The menu boasts a cheese board, antipasto platter and Ploughman’s plate piled with double smoked ham, hot salami, Spanish chorizo, sharp cheddar, feta stuffed olives, marinated artichokes and more.

Dishes designed to be shared (or not) range from rustic bruschetta and herbed haloumi stuffed flat breads to buttermilk chicken wings, char sui pork sliders and soft tacos filled with shredded coconut chicken and mango and cashew slaw.

The bar is well-stocked with craft beer on tap and bottled, premium spirits and an extensive wine list.  Cocktails include classics such as pina coladas and espresso martinis, while more adventurous concoctions consist of the fanciful Nerdy Fluff Head - bubble gum infused vodka, chambord, paven liqueur, lime juice, passionfruit and apple juice topped with fairy floss in a nerd rimmed glass.
