Harley Quinn Bar

Fortitude Valley

Updated: Sep 02, 2025

Harley Quinn bar is a pocket-sized cafe and cocktail bar tucked away down the end of California Lane in Fortitude Valley.

By the savvy owners of 1st Edition, the cool and funky bar across the lane, comic-themed Harley Quinn takes its name from one of the Batman baddies.

The tiny space is split level, with casual seating in the 'foyer' adjacent to a long narrow sunken room with banquettes and tables along one wall and glass plate windows overlooking the lane.

By day the food menu is perfect for a grab'n'go lunch or snack, with toasties, muffins and lamb curry pies on offer, whilst in the evening artisan charcuterie and cheese platters are the go.

The carefully curated selection of cocktails are the creation of mixologist and co-owner Marc Grey, using techniques like fat washes, milk punches and infusions, with theatrical touches of smoke and bubbles. and include house signature Puddin Spritz (grapefruit, vodka, prosecco, soda and rosemary).

As well as house signature Puddin Spritz (grapefruit, vodka, prosecco, soda and rosemary), other creative cocktails include Spidey's Margarita and Batman's Espresso.

The menu may have changed since our visit.
