Queensland Museum Rail Workshops, Ipswich is hosting a Steam & Smoke BBQ event on Father’s Day, Sunday, September 1st, with a bevy of BBQ and steam-themed food trucks, and smokin’ good fun for the whole family.

Treat Dad to some delicious smoked and grilled meats, and BBQ demonstrations by Brisbane’s award-winning meat smoking team, Undisputed BBQ.

Enjoy fresh steamed bao buns, local craft beer by Stony Creek Brewing, and artisan gin by Imbibis Craft Distillery at the pop-up bar.

Groove to live rock ‘n’ roll music and entertaining family-friendly performances throughout the day, as well as fun games to play.

Admire the expansive display of vintage motorcycles and vehicles, plus the spectacular steam locomotives from the Queensland Rail Heritage Fleet rolling in throughout the day, as well as the Museum’s permanent rail collection and exhibitions.
