THE PULLENVALE MARKETS CEASED TRADING IN 2023.

The Pullenvale Markets take shape on the second Saturday of the month at the historic Pullenvale Hall and are a popular place for locals & visitors alike to shop for weekly food staples and to connect over a cup of well-brewed coffee and some breakky from The Curious Caravan.

Low-key and very laid-back, it’s like being out in the country, sans the petrol outlay. But don’t be misled – you should still pack the esky because there are great valued morsels to be found.

From locally-distilled gin that’s perfect for sundowners at the end of the day, to honey harvested from nearby beehives that’ll give your breakfast toast that scrummy golden glow, you won’t leave empty handed.

Fresh bread, freshly baked pastries, vegan & gluten-free macarons and the like are available until sold out, and you’ll find a selection of locally grown, organic fruit & vegetable produce on offer.

In the mix of stall holders that do change from time to time, you’ll find treasures like small-batch jams & savoury preserve makers, family-cottage craft industries who specialise in hand-sewn creations, and creators of colourful earrings that take country fashion to a whole new level... plus many more.

For when you want to take the weight off your feet, there’s loads of shady spots and umbrella-covered picnic tables where you can relax and listen to the musicians filling the air with their sounds.

There are a myriad of these suburban, country-esque, open air, community markets popping up that provide a chance to step-back-in-time when life was slower, and actively remind us to #shoplocal and to support small business.

Nice to know – The markets are dog-friendly. There is plenty of street parking.

Need to know – Keep an eye on the Pullenvale Market Facebook page in case there is a change to location and for weather updates when planning your visit.
