Plant Vibes Cafe
Bowen Hills
PLANT VIBES CAFE HAS TEMPORARILY CLOSED IN 2024 WHILST IT AWAITS A NEW OWNER.
Plant Vibes is a gorgeous, vegan cafe on the fringe of the Valley in Bowen Hills serving delicious plant-based fare for breakfast and lunch along with well-brewed coffee.
The space has undergone a major transformation since its days as a vintage speakeasy bar and most recently, a shabby chic French patisserie, with the cafe's owners creating a stunning, light-filled, Scandi-inspired, split-level cafe with plenty of blonde timber, rattan lampshades and living plants including olive trees.
Upon entry, you'll find a cabinet filled with vegan treats such as custard and apple croissants, gluten-free chocolate brownies, mango lime cake and scrumptious raw treats.
Breakfast fare ranges from avo on toast with cashew cream and pickled radish, and chilli chive tofu scramble on sourdough, to hot chocolate and banana spring rolls, and the highly-recommended Black Forest Waffle - dainty, heart-shaped waffles topped with raspberry jam, crunchy biscuit, chocolate mousse and seasonal fruit.
Wholesome lunch options include coco creamy chickpeas (rich tomato and coconut gravy with spinach and chickpeas), crispy kale and roast butternut pumpkin salad with quinoa, almond feta and hazelnut dukkha, and Duck Ramen - miso ramen, plant-based duck, pickled radish, lotus root and enoki mushrooms.
Coffee on pour is Newstead blend, roasted locally by Industry Beans. Otherwise, there are Mayde organic teas, pressed juices, sparkling iced long black tea with lemon, hibiscus passionfruit lemon myrtle iced tea, and divine smoothies such as choc peanut brownie, cinnamon bun, and cherry bomb with cherries, raspberries, vanilla protein, almond milk and coconut yoghurt.
