A fabulous day out for anyone who likes the great outdoors and good old-fashioned country fun is the Dayboro Show, this Saturday & Sunday, 8 - 9 July at Dayboro Showgrounds.

It's a great time for all, with plenty of things to see, do and experience for every age group. You get many of the benefits of the Ekka but with a more easy-going rural atmosphere. Saturday kicks off at 9am and goes until late at night, while Sunday's activities go from 9am - 4pm.

Dayboro is just a short scenic drive from Brisbane, and the trip is well worth it - with some of the treats being a Farm Animal Display, Barnyard Babies Animal Nursery and Mouse Circus, and Horse Events that include Stunt Riding, Campdrafting, Show Jumping and Minitrots among others.

You can even go on a helicopter ride courtesy of Pterodactyl Helicopters, or watch the adrenaline-charged Eljay Freestyle Entertainment show - a motorbike and bicycle trials stunt show.

A show wouldn't be complete without Sideshow Alley and Show Bags, while you'll also see favourites like Woodchopping, Dog Show and Pavilion exhibits such as cooking, photography, wine and flowers.

There'll also be plenty of music, with appearances by Memphis Movers Roving Musicians and Paradise Road Duo. A spectacular fireworks display will be on Saturday night at 6.30pm, with live music and licensed bar running until late.

The Dayboro Show is a very affordable day out, with much of the entertainment being free once you're inside the gates. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or PRE-PURCHASE HERE.
