Occupying the ground floor of the six-storey building, the bar area retains many of the original bank's features, with soaring two-storey high ceilings, tiled floors and ornate pillars, evoking a sense of grandeur rarely seen in Brisbane.

The elegant brasserie has a cushioned banquette along one wall, wood panelled bar along the other, polished timber floors, chintz curtains, white linen clothed tables and Bentwood chairs.

Open from 7.30am for coffee and pastries, Euro style, the Brasserie offers full service dining from 11am. On the menu (lunch and dinner) expect to find Entrees such as Salmon cured and smoked with uni & shiso; Pork Belly with ginger, caramel, scallop, pea and apple; Petite tart of heirloom vegetables. goat's curd & sorrel or Moreton Bay Bug tagliatelle, chilli & marjoram.

For Mains you'll be treated to the likes of Beef Steak frites with salad, hand-cut chips and bearnaise or pepper sauce; Duck with Jerusalem artichoke, morels & blackberry; Coral Trout with blood lime, fennel & kipfler or Lobster with native thyme, rissoni & bisque.
